Cherise Comma

MANAGER OF SEARCH OPERATIONS

Over the last decade, Cherise has focused her career on talent acquisition and search operations. She has a keen mind for process, systems, and an ability to effect change. She organizes and leads all search operations at Pearl Street, making sure that our people have the tools and resources to deliver the highest quality of service effectively and efficiently to our clients. Cherise also supports the client and candidate experience as she handles logistics and oversees the on-time delivery of our search schedules.

Cherise has held talent acquisition roles at Boston Medical Center and the May Institute, before transitioning into RPO and executive search with The Bowdoin Group. At The Bowdoin Group, she progressed through roles of increasing responsibility and ultimately served as a Project Manager focused on client solutions for high volume recruitment.

A native of Trinidad and Tobago and a Posse scholar, Cherise has a passion for an equitable society - one that allows us all to feel free journeying along our destined path, and to feel safe to flourish and be successful as we are meant to. After all, it's always better when it's better for everyone. Cherise’s experience as a first-generation high school and college graduate influenced her decision to transition into the nonprofit sector. Cherise is thrilled to partner with clients who are dedicated to diversifying their organizations culturally and intellectually.

Cherise holds a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Anthropology from Centre College, and earned her Masters of Science in Project Management and Operations from Southern New Hampshire University. In her spare time, Cherise enjoys interior designing, indulging in Trinbagonian cuisine and listening to the sweet sound of Soca music.
